Day 1 Negombo
First day arrival in sri lanka we went to special location. One of the most excellent beaches in Sri Lanka is located near Negombo, making it a significant draw for visitors. The beach is kilometers long, with soft, golden sand perfect for lounging in the sun. As a bonus, the beach offers a fantastic vantage point from which to see the day catch brought ashore by the local fisherman. The beachside food sellers provide the best opportunities to sample the region fresh seafood.
Negombo Lagoon, St. Mary Church, Dutch Canal, Fish Market, Muthurajawela Marsh is the most famous places in negombo area. so you can get an unforgettable memory in this day.

Day 02 Wilpattu
Anawilundawa Wetland, situated just an hours drive away, is a must-visit destination for bird enthusiasts. This man-made marsh is positioned on the western migratory bird path and has been in existence since the 12th century AD. The sanctuary, located on an island, offers a stunning backdrop for a thriving bird population. The lush vegetation of the dry zones low-country forest is home to several species of mammals, including the mouse deer, mongoose, wild cats, and fruit bats, along with reptiles and amphibians such as water monitors, tortoises, and geckoes.
After a fulfilling bird-watching experience at Anawilundawa, it is time to head to Nawadankulama for some more avian sightings. A 30-minute drive from the sanctuary will take you to the Nawadankulama Tank, which is a popular spot for large groups of migrating ducks. You will also get to see several species of eagle and the collared dove, along with the Indian grey partridge. Day 03 Wilpattu
Full day safari at Wilpattu National Park with picnic meals
Wilpattu is a reasonably dense dry zone rainforest with a number of flood plain lakes bordered with fine white sands scattered throughout. It is home to a diverse range of species, including deer, elephants, wild boar, sloth bears, and leopards, as well as a stunning diversity of vegetation in vast tracts of forest.

Day 04 Habarana
After a two-hour drive, we will arrive at Habarana, where you will check in to your accommodation and enjoy some lunch and rest. The area is known for its rich biodiversity, and you will have the opportunity to witness a wide variety of birds in the forest. At 3 pm, we will make our way into the Habarana forest, which is surrounded by several lakes and is an excellent habitat for birds. As we venture through the forest, you will be amazed by the sights and sounds of the different species of birds that call this place home. After a day of exploring and experiencing the natural beauty of Habarana, you can retire to your accommodation for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 5 Habarana
Embark on an exciting bird watching adventure in the Sigiriya Sanctuary with the guidance of our expert naturalist. The trip takes place in the early hours of the morning, from 6 AM to 10 AM, providing the best opportunity to witness a wide variety of bird species in their natural habitat. After an exhilarating morning of bird watching, you will be transported to Habarana to enjoy a scrumptious lunch and some well-deserved rest. Habarana is home to lush jungles and numerous lakes, making it an ideal environment for birds to thrive. Spend the remainder of the day exploring the area and spotting more feathered friends before retiring for the night at your comfortable accommodation in Habarana.
Day 06 Habarana
Guests staying at the hotel can start their day off right with a delicious breakfast. Whether you prefer something sweet or savory, our breakfast menu has something for everyone. After breakfast, nature enthusiasts can head to the Garden in Habarana for some bird watching. With its diverse range of bird species, the Garden is a bird watchers paradise. But that is not all - the Garden also offers a unique opportunity to spot the elusive Slender Loris on a guided night walk. Accompanied by knowledgeable guides, guests can leisurely explore the forest at night using spotlights to search for these shy and rare primates. The experience is both educational and exciting, offering a chance to observe the forest at night and learn about the different nocturnal animals that call it home. And, for those lucky enough to capture a photo of the Slender Loris in its natural habitat, the moment is sure to be unforgettable.

Day 07 Kithulgala
The day will begin with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a 4 ½ hour drive to Kitulgala. Upon arrival, we will indulge in an evening of bird watching in the Makandawa Rainforest Patch. The Kalani Valley forest reserve, which is a low country rain forest, is home to a wide variety of endemic birds and other unique wildlife that can only be found on the island. It will be an incredible experience to see some of these birds around home gardens. One of the most highly sought-after endemics is the Chestnut-backed Owlet, and we will make our way to a known stakeout for the opportunity to catch a glimpse of it. Additionally, we will visit the Serendib Scops Owl stakeout, where the owl has created a sensation in the birding world. Other endemic birds that can be found here include the Yellow-fronted Barbet, Ceylon Small Barbet, Ceylon Spurfowl, Green-billed Coucal, Layards Parakeet, and the Ceylon Rufous Babbler, to name just a few. This bird watching excursion promises to be a truly unforgettable experience for nature enthusiasts and bird watchers alike.

Day 08 Kitulgala
If you are an avid bird watcher, then the Makandawa rain forest is a destination that should be on your bucket list. The rainforest is known for its incredible birdlife, and the best way to experience it is by taking a bird watching tour. Day 09 Bundala
After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the campsite, it is time to head to Tissamaharama, a journey that takes approximately 5 hours. Once you arrive, you will have the opportunity to do some evening bird watching at the Bundala National Park, which boasts an impressive array of biodiversity. The park is home to a staggering 383 recorded plant species, with 6 endemics and 7 threatened species among them. With 32 species of mammals, including 5 that are considered threatened, there is plenty to see on land as well. But it is the birdlife that truly sets this park apart, with approximately 197 species calling it home, including a variety of migratory waterfowl. In fact, the parks wetland system is so important for these birds that it has been declared Sri Lanka first Ramsar wetland a recognition of its great international significance. For avid bird-watchers, a visit to Bundala National Park is an absolute must.

Day 10 Yala
Embark on an unforgettable adventure with a full-day safari at Yala National Park, a must-visit destination for eco-tourism enthusiasts in Sri Lanka. The park, which spans a staggering 97,878 hectares over the Southern and Uva Provinces, is located just 24km northeast of Tissamaharama and 305km from Colombo on the southeast coast of Sri Lanka. The vegetation in the park is primarily semi-arid thorny scrub, with pockets of fairly dense secondary forest, and small patches of mangrove vegetation along the coastal lagoons. Day 11 Departure
One great way to start your day in the area of Tissa Lake and the surrounding village is by going on a morning bird-watching excursion. This is a wonderful opportunity to witness the local birdlife in its natural habitat, which includes a variety of species such as the Indian cormorant, storks, egrets, and kingfishers, among others. You can also take a leisurely stroll around the lake to fully appreciate the serene natural beauty of the area. After the bird-watching adventure, it is time to bid farewell to this stunning location and head back to the airport for your departure.
The drive to the airport will take approximately five hours, giving you plenty of time to reflect on the many memorable experiences you had during your stay in Sri Lanka.
