Day 01 Negambo
Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be warmly welcomed by Blumentravels at the airport. They will be ready to transfer you to your hotel in Negombo via a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle, ensuring that you have a smooth and hassle-free journey. After settling into your hotel, you can spend the rest of the day at leisure, taking in the scenic beauty of this coastal town at your own pace. Whether you choose to relax by the pool, take a stroll along the beach or explore the local markets, there is something for everyone to enjoy in Negombo. So, sit back, unwind and get ready to embark on an exciting journey through Sri Lanka.

Day 02 Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
The day begins with a delightful breakfast, after which you can start exploring Negombo. You can opt to take a Canal Boat Hire and glide through the beautiful waterways or stroll along the golden sands of Negombo Beach. Later, depart for Pinnawala where you will get a chance to visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Witness the magnificent creatures up close and learn about their rescue and rehabilitation efforts. If you have some extra time, you can also choose to visit the Millennium Elephant Foundation, which works towards conserving and protecting the Asian elephant.

Day 03 Sigiriya
On the third day of your Sri Lanka trip, you will depart for Sigiriya in the morning. Once you arrive, you will have the chance to explore the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, which was once the capital of Sri Lanka during the reign of King Kashyapa. The king decorated the rock with a palace, a frescoes cave, a mirror wall on which ancient visitors wrote their poems, and a water system that included canals, pools, and natural air conditioning in the gardens. After King Kashyapa, the rock town was converted into a Buddhist monastery for some time.
In the evening, you will take a jeep safari through the Minneriya National Park. You will have the opportunity to spot elephants, deer, peacocks, boars, and many kinds of birds. After your safari adventure, you will return to Sigiriya for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 04 Kandy
On the following day, start the morning off with a delicious breakfast before departing for Kandy. Once there, make a point to visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, an important spiritual site for many Sri Lankans. After that, head over to the Royal Botanic Gardens, which boast a vast collection of over 4,000 plant and tree species, including a stunning array of orchids. The grounds span 147 acres, providing visitors with ample space to take a peaceful boat ride or simply wander among the lush foliage. For those interested in history and culture, the Kandy Museum is a must-see destination. Inside, you can view an array of Kandyan weaponry, clothing, and crafts, while learning about the citys impact on Sri Lankan history. After a day filled with exploration, return to the hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Day 05 Nuwara Eliya
To make the most out of your trip to Nuwara Eliya, it is recommended that you depart early in the morning. Your first stop should be at a tea factory and plantation where you can witness the process of tea making and even taste some freshly brewed tea. On your way to Nuwara Eliya, make sure to stop by the Ramboda Ella Water Falls, which is a breathtaking natural attraction that is not to be missed.
Once you arrive in Nuwara Eliya, make your way to the picturesque Gregory Park. The park is a popular spot among both locals and tourists due to its stunning landscaping and serene atmosphere. Take a stroll around the park and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
After a long day of exploring and sightseeing, head back to your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing and unwinding. Nuwara Eliya is known for its scenic beauty and tranquil ambiance, so take the time to soak it all in and recharge your batteries before your next adventure.

Day 06 Nuwara Eliya / Adam’s peak
On the following day, we decided to spend the morning at the hotel after enjoying a delicious breakfast. However, we could not resist the allure of Nallathanniya, the most famous tourist destination in the area. This quaint village is located in the Nuwara Eliya District of Sri Lanka and is situated en route to Adams Peak. Interestingly, the village gets its name from a nearby tea estate. We explored the area, taking in the natural beauty and admiring the lush surroundings. As the evening approached, we decided to stay in the Nallathanniya area and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the place.
The next day, we finally embarked on our long-awaited journey to Adams Peak, which is also known as Sri Pada. This mountain holds immense religious significance for many religions, with countless stories and legends surrounding it. Numerous people believe that the footprint of their religious leader can be found at the top of this mountain. However, this location is not just a pilgrimage site, it is also a picturesque destination that attracts tourists from all over the world. The area is blessed with dense forests, waterfalls, rivers, streams, and diverse wildlife, making it a nature lovers paradise. We spent a memorable day exploring this magnificent mountain and taking in the awe-inspiring views that surrounded us.
Day 07 Kithulgala
After a relaxing nights rest at the hotel, the next day brings new adventures. The plan is to head to Kithulgala, a small town located in the lush jungles of Sri Lanka. The journey to Kithulgala promises to be a scenic one, with verdant hills and glistening rivers providing a picturesque backdrop. Upon arrival, the afternoon presents the option to embark on a trek through the Kelani Valley Forest Reserve, which is sure to offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Alternatively, if a more leisurely pace is preferred, one can choose to spend the rest of the day relaxing and unwinding at the hotel. Whatever the choice, this promises to be a memorable day filled with natural wonders and peaceful moments.

Day 8 White water rafting
On the eighth day of your trip, you will have the chance to experience the thrill of white water rafting in the Kelani River. This activity is suitable for anyone above the age of 10 years and includes safety gear, modern rafts, and a comprehensive safety briefing by experienced white water rafting instructors. During the adventure, you will cover five major rapids and four minor rapids while enjoying the breathtaking views of the river and its surrounding landscape. The distance covered is around 5 kilometers, and the experience is sure to leave you enchanted. After your exhilarating adventure, you will enjoy a delicious Sri Lankan rice and curry lunch before departing for your next destination, Hikkaduwa.

Day 9, 10 Hikkaduwa
On the ninth day of your trip to Sri Lanka, you can indulge in a wonderful river safari in Madu Ganga located in Balapitiya. This river is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, and taking a boat tour will give you the opportunity to witness it all. Later in the day, you can explore the stunning coastal town of Hikkaduwa, known for its vibrant coral reefs, exciting surfing opportunities, and pristine beaches. You can also pamper yourself with a relaxing spa session, relish delicious seafood, and witness a breathtaking sunset.
On the tenth day, you can embark on a whale-watching tour in the morning to witness these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. After this exciting adventure, you can visit the historic Dutch Fort in Galle, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. This fort is known for its unique architecture and stunning views of the Indian Ocean. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the charming city of Galle. Later in the evening, you can return to Hikkaduwa for an overnight stay and soak in the serene surroundings.
Day 11 Departure
On the last day of your trip, you can spend some time relaxing on the beach before you depart for the airport. Take in the beautiful views, soak up some sun, and enjoy the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore. Once you are ready to leave, you can arrange for a transfer to the airport. Whether you are traveling alone or with a group, there are plenty of options available to make sure you get to the airport safely and on time.
