Meemure, a small farming village located deep in the Knuckles Valley, is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. To get there, one must endure a trek of about 3-4 hours through rough terrain, scrub jungle, and dense forests. The journey includes crossing a few streams, adding to the excitement of the adventure. Upon arrival, visitors can take a break and relax at the quaint village shop. Here, they can enjoy a steaming cup of hot tea, sweetened with jaggery made from coconut sap. The refreshing drink is a specialty of the village and is sure to warm up any weary traveler. Meemures rustic charm and breathtaking scenery make it a must-visit destination for any nature lover.

On the fourth day of your journey, you will bid farewell to the beautiful Knuckles Range and make your way towards Kithulgala. Udawalawe National Park is the main attraction here, and it offers visitors the opportunity to see a diverse range of wildlife, including elephants, leopards, sambar deer, water buffalo, and many more. You can take a guided jeep safari through the park to spot these majestic animals in their natural habitat.

On the tenth day of the trip, it was time to say goodbye to the beautiful destination and head back home. The itinerary for the day was focused on the transfer to the airport. As the group checked out of the hotel, they made sure to double-check that they had packed all their belongings and souvenirs. The transfer to the airport was arranged by the tour company and the group was picked up in a comfortable coach. Along the way, they reminisced about the amazing experiences they had during the trip, from exploring local markets to admiring stunning natural landscapes. Upon arriving at the airport, the group bid farewell to their tour guide and thanked him for his exceptional service throughout the trip. They then proceeded to check-in and board their flight back home, carrying with them unforgettable memories that they will cherish for a lifetime.
